2-C-metil-D-eritritol 2,4-ciklodifosfatna sintaza (EC 4.6.1.12, MECDP-sintaza, 2-fosfo-4-(citidin 5'-difosfo)-2-C-metil-D-eritritol CMP-lijaza (ciklizacija)) je enzim sa sistematskim imenom 2-fosfo-4-(citidin 5'-difosfo)-2-C-metil-D-eritritol CMP-lijaza (ciklizacija, formira 2-C-metil-D-eritritol 2,4-ciklodifosfat).[1][2] Ovaj enzim katalizuje sledeću hemijsku reakciju
- 2-fosfo-4-(citidin 5'-difosfo)-2-C-metil-D-eritritol 2-C-metil-D-eritritol 2,4-ciklodifosfat + CMP
Za dejstvo enzima iz Escherichia coli neophodan je jon Mg2+ ili Mn2+.
