Colin MacInnes
Colin MacInnes (20.8. 1914 – 22.4. 1976) bio je engleski romanopisac.
MacInnes je rođen u Londonu kao sin spisateljice Angelle Thirkell. Obrazovao se u Australiji. Za vrijeme drugog svjetskog rata služio je vojnoj obavještajnoj službi.
Nakon rata napisao je nekoliko knjiga koje su se bavile londonskom omladinskom i crnačkom imigrantskom kultzurom za vrijeme 1950-ih, in particular City of Spades (1957), Absolute Beginners (1959) and Mr. Love and Justice (1960).
Absolute Begginers je kasnije postao poznat po filmskoj adaptaciji iz 1986. godine.
