Felipe de Salcedo var en spansk oppdager som deltok på López de Legazpis ekspedisjon til de filippinske øyer på 1500-tallet. Han var med sammen med sin yngre bror Juan de Salcedo og bestefar Miguel López de Legazpi i 1564 i denne koloniseringsferd til de øst-indiske øyer og Stillehavet. Han kommanderte som 18-åring ett skip av fem som seilte ut fra Mexico til Filippinene. Han bragte senere bestefarens rapporter til kongen tilbake til Spania. [1]
