Amon Amarth on vuonna 1992 Tumbassa perustettu ruotsalainen melodista death metallia soittava yhtye, jonka sanoitukset ovat saaneet vaikutteita skandinaavisesta mytologiasta. Yhtyeen nimi tulee fantasiakirjailija J. R. R. Tolkienin luomasta sindarin kielestä ja tarkoittaa Tuomiovuorta.

Yhtye on julkaissut 11 studioalbumia, yhden kokoelma-albumin, EP:n sekä videoalbumin. Yhtyeen kappaleista on tehty myös kymmenen musiikkivideota. Yhtyeen ensimmäinen studioalbumi Once Sent from the Golden Hall julkaistiin vuonna 1998, jonka jälkeen se levytti viisi studioalbumia ennen vuonna 2008 läpimurron tehnyttä albumia Twilight of the Thunder God.
